Brightwater Chef Instructor Elaine Jones is originally from Searcy, Ark., and credits her mother for fostering her love for baking at a young age.
“My mom encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a Pastry Chef,” Elaine says. “Every time I step in the kitchen, it is in her honor.”
Elaine’s work experience includes being the Assistant Executive Pastry Chef at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis and Adjunct Baking and Pastry Instructor at the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College. She joined Brightwater in 2022.
“Brightwater offers a unique culinary experience that sets it above other culinary programs,” Elaine says. “Students and faculty are encouraged to think outside of the norm while also showing appreciation for the foundations.”
In her free time, Elaine enjoys Orangetheory Fitness, hiking, traveling and reading.
