Ginna Beasley
Applied Farming Instructor & Greenhouse Manager
Brightwater Applied Farming Instructor & Greenhouse Manager Ginna Beasley is originally from central Oklahoma and pursued a master's degree in horticulture. As a graduate assistant at the University of Arkansas, she worked extensively with grape production and experimenting with various types of grapes in high tunnel systems.
While Ginna received a lot of training in grape management and food science lab technology, she wanted to move into the field of education and spread awareness among the local community about horticulture. She joined Brightwater in 2020 as an adjunct instructor in applied farming and enjoys being able to work outside in Brightwater's large teaching garden.
"It is so fun to bring students outside and see everyone get excited about the crops that are growing in the garden," says Ginna.
In her free time, Ginna enjoys painting, crafts and reading.
